However, we really do need her, and people like her, as the executives leading at the state level. No other way to clean up the country if it doesn’t start with each state.
I speculated this shortly after the results came in. Maybe Hobbs is like a Synema: liberal on paper but will vote for the people in the most critical moments. Even if Hobbs 97% in line with Dems, if she prevents some things like Synema did with lockdowns and healthcare, could save the state while still freeing up Kari as VP, keeping Desantis in the much needed FL gov position.
no one gave Kari the memo on that plan, if it is. I don't like the optics of Kari "moving on" up to VP pick. After all of her work and words as a campaigner and election integrity defender, she has NOT proven herself as a stateswoman in any practical sense, unfortunately. So preferring her for VP with no battle experience in the real pressures of holding office is completely jumping the gun imho. And causes suspicion whether power and national attention are deeper values than fixing the problems of AZ she promised to fight for.
Hobbs is a worthless bug. That is clearly indicated by her behavior during this election cycle and the way she conducted her major responsibility, Arizona elections. Synema may be center-left, and may have benefited from the screwy Arizona election system, but she at least seems to have some modicum of sincerity or sense of accountability to her constituents.
Yep, as Trump’s VP
