This is a much more positive take than the one I had after watching the last couple hours. The prosecution team is not good.
I counted half a dozen times they re-asked the exact same question that was already answered, during cross or by their own team -- and not even questions that could somehow prove perjury with some unknown evidence.
They just admitted that they failed to follow chain of custody in court. Door is open to throw out the election for it simply not being run properly. Also opens Hobbs up since she was in charge
After watching that cross, I cannot believe how TERRIBLE Lake's lawyers are.
Leading questions, hostile questions, so many reasons to object to easily half of the questions asked, and they just sat around twiddling their thumbs.
They had better have a LOT more hard evidence, because the legal team might as well not be present.

I'm not overly hopeful, but time will tell.

Also, the statement from the forensic investigator is pretty damning. Hearing is definitely picking up for Lake.
Thankfully they have the evidence on their side, because the legal acumen of the representation certainly wasn't enough to win this case.
I would think for such a prominent and historic trial they would have pulled out the really big legal guns. Weird!
