Back in the restuarant days I had a few celebrity guests. The local ones would request me by name. I just treated them like normal people and did my best to give them a peaceful dining experience with their guests.
Point being, they were pretty much regular people just like you and I. And I'd guess about the same percentage of celebs are awake as normal people. Maybe higher if they get into the ridiculous amount of money and status range where you might be justified in getting very high levels of security.
I know nothing about his politics (I'd assume not great, maybe I shouldn't) but Kevin Smith is by all accounts exceedingly down to earth; there's a story about how a place was afraid to tell him and his family they closed soon and they would have just left if they had, so when he found out he tipped the entire staff enormously.
You see that whole thing Smith and Mewes did with Degrassi? Remember wheelchair Jimmy and now he's Drake? None of these "celebrities" are innocent. They play roles for both sides. ALL OF THEM.
I look forward to the day of no more Hollywood or sportsball worshipping. Yes, your favorite based actor is or was involved in some serious evil shit. I'm surprised so many around these truther circles still clap like trained seals over anything said by a celebrity that agrees with your opinions.
I never "clapped like a trained seal" - I mentioned an old story from when the guy was apparently cool. OK so there's updated info which I've taken into account, it's not like I've paid any attention whatsoever to the dude for a long ass time, nor am I continuing to defend him once more information has been provided.
I was specifically saying "here is an example where someone behaved normally instead of as a celebrity" - that was IT. I am extremely unimpressed and generally unfazed by celebrity status actually.
Grooming. If you saw the episodes, you'd see it. The entire show was for grooming kids into globohomo. They were shooting a movie and casting for local talent. Same old story. Do anything for fame!
My bud met him and Jason Mewes at a Walmart where they were recording their adventures in the toy department. They were in town to do a standup show, and also gave him tickets. They were totally down-to-Earth, except for when some fan girl came up and started drooling on them. I guess they subtly belittled her kek
Ever seen Dogma? Came out in 2000, I think. To this day he still gets death threats from people over it.
And then you should watch Red State. Basically a Twitter rant against Westboro Baptist Church made into something that tried, and failed, to be a horror movie.

Kevin Smith is a notoriously woke soyboi these days, ever since he went vegan to lose weight his writing has gone to shit.
Arrrrgh. Well, I'm completely unsurprised. This is why we have these little conversations....

As I mentioned before:
This mentality has existed since the days of Moses:

Celebrities are no better than golden calfs.

I have no idea what Degrassi even is. It looks like some kind of teen show, not sure why them being on it would be a big deal.
Usually when someone makes these claims, its best to dig on the usual pizzagate topics.
