If your kids are in these schools, talk to your neighbors. Agree to keep your kids home.
Great idea! Check out about homeschooling too. Teach your children to read, write print and cursive, spelling, math, religion, art, science, music, exercise, you know the basics.
Homeschooling is the best parenting decesion we have ever made. We use a Christian based program that offers free to print Language Arts & Math. There are extra books for science and history if you decide to use them. We feel the program was the best method for us, other homeschoolers in the area do it without any type of program or curriculum and are happy with their results.
Do you happen to have a link? Thanks in advance.

The lessons are designed where the parents can pick up right where the child left off withour any preparation. Our little guys is only 6 years old so his attention span sometimes can only go on for 20-25 minutes at a time. When we feel like he needs a break he gets maybe 20-30 minutes of break and or snack time. A lesson typically only takes 15 - 20 minutes. We began this in the 3rd week of October and are arleady half way through 1st grade. He enjoys it so much, that he even asks to do lessons on weekends. He really enjoys listening to and singing music, so to practice writing, we print out lyrics of songs that he loves and he copies the lyrics on the blank dotted lines that we printed below each line.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I will gladly answer the best I can.
Great job, SaltyKarens! We homeschooled our triplets (will be 21 in a few months) too. I didn't want them separated in class, plus, I didn't want the school talking to my babies about sex (k-8 school!) No thank you. I am not a prude in any way, shape or form, I can be a dirty bird, but do NOT do that to children.
