I live in Japan and I missed this because I hate McDonalds and don't eat their crap.
Although mcdonalds in japan is probably still really bad for you, i have to admit i did eat it once there, and it felt like i was eating health food compared to an american mcdonalds; way less greasy shit and salt. Here its like a salt deposit with a side of fake potatoes to go with your diarrhea inducing fat patty with sauce thats probably just estrogen mixed with the workers cum
Hai!
I looked at the ingredients list once on an empty box for McDick's fries. A major ingredient was talc. Wtf is talc doing in fries?
Seriously??? Causing cancer probably! Especially if it's contaminated with asbestos.

This was years ago, but yes, seriously. My cousin was moving, used a bunch of boxes from McDick's. We read the ingredients. Talc. Right after salt.
Independent burger shops in Japan kick ass. I even had Sasebo burgers when my wife and I stayed in Sasebo for our 1 year anniversary. There is a burger shop in Maebashi not too far from me called King God Burger. I love that name, but haven't had a chance to go there to eat yet.
Ever since the Beanie Babies bullcrap my mother forced happy meals on me every day, I swore them off.
There is a once-in-a-blue-moon where I will buy a dollar item when I absolutely need something in my stomach to carry through work, and I still wish the homless didn't chase my donut shope away.
Same here. I only go there on road trips when I need a cheap iced coffee.
McDonalds's coffee is not bad. Better than Starbucks, which roasts their beans too long to maximize caffeine potency, making it acidic to my stomach. McDonalds coffee is smooth.
I experience the same thing. Starbucks doesn't taste good, it's overpriced, and it's acidic. I don't get why people fawn over it.
Yup, I don't remember the last time I went to mcdicks either. What I do remember was that I had stopped going after learning that (and this applies to most if not all fast food) it's "Generally Regarded As Safe", something I learned meant that if it was deemed safe to eat in the 1950's, while Drs would prescribe cigarettes for a sore throat, then it does not require any safety testing to add to foods.
The last time I ate there was a few years after when it was the closest option with minimal time; it left me feeling closer to feeling sick than feeling full.
Anime tells me it's WcDonald's.
