This is not something the courts should be involved in. This is something the congress should be doing. The different branches of government should not be fixing what the branch itself should be fixing.
Of course the congress will not fix it but that is besides the point. Once the courts have that power over congress it could lead to some really dark areas.
The petition asks the court to find the president and lots of congressmen guilty of treason without there ever being a trial. They'll never do that, and we sure as hell wouldn't want them to.

The relevant facts are a matter of legal record.
The three branches are by design in constant tension with each other. Each branch acts as a check on the others.
That's the design intent. When the same outside force suborns all three branches that design purpose fails.
