No matter if it's a mammal, a bird, a reptile, an insect, a fish... there are only two genders.
There are roughly 10 Million different species on Earth... and members of nearly all of them can be classified as being either male or female... no "other" option. Same for Humans for our entire 2 million year existence... up until about 6 years ago.
