What these virtue signaling idiots don't realize is that since Amazon took over Whole Foods, most of the produce and a great many of their products are conventional - and they pay a "whole" lot more for the same stuff they could get anywhere else. I quit shopping there years ago when I saw the changes. Most of the employees that worked for Whole Foods before the transfer were gone within a couple of years. I knew the produce manager at the WF were I live and he couldn't deal with the BS anymore. Most of the produce and the meat are basically the same stuff sold at any market. A fool and their money are soon parted.
Truth. Whole Foods keeps up a Special facade by having just enough off beat products and Amazon's Fresh delivery isn't as fresh as Walmart.
The place really went into the toilet after Amazon took over. The fresh food offerings were horrible and one by one the products I used to buy were no longer carried. So what was the point of making the trip for one or two over priced items.
Funnily enough some of the specialty items that Whole Foods apparently used to carry disappeared around the time that Amazon bought them. These items were often healthy alternatives, hard to find seasoning agents, even something simple like sodium citrate for a decent price disappeared from near me.
I have had to find my items now online or other places. I have a discount grocery outlet near my home and it actually sells quite a few of the items I normally buy - organics, grass fed, free range, etc. The prices are not bad either. If I hit it at the right time, they mark some items down, like organic cheese. Last time it was $2lb. I bought a boat load and froze it. So, I really don't miss WF. Amazon and the brain dead virtue signalers can have it.
Some people don't want you to have healthy food or supplements.
yep its probably a little bit better than walmart food but not by much. Get your grass fed meat from local farmers and avoid these toxic processed foods.
I have a discount grocery outlet near my home that gets local organic produce and grass fed beef, organic free range chicken and eggs, along with organic dairy. The prices are good too. Screw those other places.
Good info
