Amazon got hit hard after their billion dollar LOTR show flopped. Google relied on being the default choice for internet browser. With increasing viable competition their feeling the pinch. Microsoft hasn’t managed anything particularly inventive or innovative and has essentially coasted on Windows being the default OS for decades and sucking the creativity and innovation out of their subsidiaries to stay alive like a twisted leach.

Their gaming division maybe a saving grace. If only because Gaming is the one industry that’s recorded fairly consistent growth year on year. Not meteoric. But consistent.

But that is complicated by the fact anyone could feasible run an indie game studio out of their Basement with a decent Wi-Fi connection
