Can You Find It? It was dropped on a sidewalk in Donetsk. Hundreds of children pick them up or walk on them and lose their feet. Called Petal Bombs, they are meant to maim.

PFM-1 mine.
You can see shiny of top of the fuze
I think that's the point. You can't find it, so the pedestrians can't.
A petal bomb.
I don’t see it in photo. This is new to me.
What does it look like?
It's grey green, rectangular, in the leaves and in the middle of the photo.
I reckon.
ahh now I see it...I was looking for something that I thought kids would pick up...but what do I know about kids interests...

See link. Bit slightly bigger than a man’s hand.
Believe it or not, I used to play with these things (smaller than the ones in the photo and less lethal) with other kids when I went to elementary school overseas, they made good pranks and for us stupid kids, it was funny watching other kids' reactions when one exploded near them.
Until we heard about one kid who had a bunch of them in his pants pocket and they exploded while he was running. Burned his crotch and damaged his dick and balls. We never played with them petal bombs again and the sale of them was soon banned.
Zoom in right smack dab in the middle of the photo.
