My normie coworkers are talking about how obvious it was that the Bengals-Chiefs game was rigged last night and were pissed about it. They were talking about how the NFL wanted the Kelce brothers to play each other, Andy Reid playing against his former team etc.
I asked how come they aren’t this pissed about the Epstein clientele list not being released? Why aren’t they this pissed about inflation? Why aren’t they this pissed about the covid scam? Why aren’t they this pissed about anything that actually matters?
They just stared at me and said nothing. Then I said well this is why this country is going down the shitter and Seattle is now a cesspool. None of you give a fuck about anything important. Then I went on my break.
Tired of normies.
Oh and why is it possible an entire football league is capable of mass manipulation to get their desire outcome but we mention the government being guilty of the same and it’s all eye rolls and “ok conspiracy theorist”
What makes both easier to accept/understand is that it's kinda like stealing elections. Like how it only really takes a few counties, in sports it only takes the refs and/or play callers, maybe a few players...
Oh wow, you know the stats of your favorite players since college? That’s cool. Do you know the voting records of your local elected officials? Oh…. Ok.
Show their ignorance. It’s not they don’t have the ability to retain the info they just don’t find it important, sadly.
I agree with what your saying, absolutely. I guess I’m one that lives on both sides. I know quite a lot about football players, of certain teams. I do look up info on players, teams, drafts, etc. I also stay informed, with the huge help of these forums, and spread that info as much as I can. I can sports talk with best of them, and scare them off with real world problems at the same time. But in the end, I feel enslaved in the “slave state” in both conversations. Only because of one thing, neither has anything to do with my salvation with Jesus. Neither are really important, unless God is the focus.
I could easily use your sentences, almost word for word, and just change the focus to the Bible, and the Word of God. People are so in tuned with the worlds problems, and are intelligent…yet couldn’t even say one line of scripture from the Bible out if memory. They know very little of what, I know, to be the most important. So as someone who sees a football fan as ignorant of what’s really going on, I could say is equally ignorant of the Word of God. Both subjects are of worldly things.
1John 2:15. “ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
We are slaves to this world, as the Israelites were to Egypt. We aren’t evil, just “trapped”. I myself dabble way to much into this world’s problems, politically and entertainingly.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned. All fall short of the glory of God.” And we shouldn’t be proud of that by no means. We all can do better. “They” aren’t any more lost or ignorant than most of us here by God’s view. And His concerns and commands are really all that matters.
An uplifting 2mins for you.

I’m right there with you btw.
