I wonder if Mike Adams the “Health Ranger” could use his ISO accredited food testing lab and get a hold of some of this feed and analyze it to figure out what’s going on with the chicken feed.
I saw some articles on Tractor Supply Chicken feed doing the same thing. I am trying to get some on the ground confirmation. Since you cannot trust the media or the internet to get reliable information, and I believe the narrative is being foisted on us daily, I trust no source other than other people I trust. It sucks that that is the way it is but that is the way it is.
It is NOT just Tractor Supply feed. I had the same issue and my chickens were not eating anything from Tractor Supply. Our feed was from Rural King and it was a high protein layer feed. Other people I've seen posting have cited other brands. We got our hens laying again by replacing most of the feed with a good scratch grains mix.
I've read that Mike Adams is testing Tractor Supply feed. That's not going to fix the issue if this is several brands.
Here's what I think is going on. The Gate Pundit story about TS feed claimed there was a problem with the protein content being lowered. Remember all the stories about people's dogs dying and getting sick because the Chinese were mixing melamine powder in the dogfood? They were doing that to fake the amount of protein in the feed.
I think they're doing the same thing to chicken feed. Just because they have a number on the bag doesn't mean any of those nutrition numbers are real.
Editing to add this - scratch has far less protein than layer feed and they started laying again immediately and were obviously feeling better. That's what made me think the protein might be drastically lower than claimed in the layer feed.
I don't know who makes Producer's Pride for them. Ours was not a store brand. It was Nutrena Naturewise. I do find the whole thing mighty fishy considering the price of eggs has skyrocketed. In fact egg farmers are suing stores over it because they say the prices aren't justified by what they're being paid for the eggs.
Fortunately, there are tons of resources, including videos on YT, on how to create your own chicken feed. Whole oats, whole wheat berries, whole corn, oily seeds, grit, etc.
Someone I know commented "It's winter, chickens don't lay eggs in the winter." (for reference, they are a triple jabbed CNN zombie). I said "OK, so how do we get eggs at the store year round then???"
You get them in the winter from megafarms (like the one that burned) who spend big bucks to keep the lights on most of the night in the winter so the chickens continue to lay (egg laying is triggered by day length). This practice can shorten their laying life, which is no big deal to the conglomerates - just butcher them after a year or two of laying and replace them with younger birds. In my chicken yard, laying slows way down in the fall and winter and picks back up in the spring and summer - unless I supplement with artificial light. (I'm unvaxxed and based, BTW.)

...he is working on that....
It’s so unbelievable and disgusting. They will stop at nothing.
...absolutely...

...I think the health ranger is having tests run on several brands of chicken chow....

...the TSC and Rural King feed is probably made by the same mill...

...it is sad when the bastards are poisoning our beasties....
If I remember correctly, the melamine was put in baby formula, not dog food. Even worse.
No, it was in dog food too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_adulteration_in_China

Wow! Thanks for that.

This poison was found, rime to burn the flock cause u know, bird flu
...the cover up is worse than the crime...
What does it mean for the eggs that are available? 🤔
...in theory, they would be taited....
Is melamine digestible? Or would it just be passing through.
