Doesn’t this move pour water on the narrative the DS is using this to push Biden out? This seems more like a maneuver to hide what is in the documents.
They can still remove Joe. They just don't want the Republicans to do it. They would rather take the "win" then let the Republicans get credit.
This scandal seems to take the 25th Amendment off the table. It will look way too convenient to claim he is either physically or mentally incapacitated now.
It seems to me they absolutely need the Republicans to help through impeachment. The only other option is Biden takes himself out by resigning.
At this point I'm inclined to believe this is about blocking him from running in the 2024 election. And, possibly, he or his family created this scandal to avoid the 25th Amendment being used on him now.
