The surface of Lake Huron is 577 feet (176 m) above sea level. The lake's average depth is 32 fathoms 3 feet (195 ft; 59 m), while the maximum depth is 125 fathoms (750 ft; 229 m). It has a length of 206 statute miles (332 km; 179 nmi) and a greatest breadth of 183 statute miles (295 km; 159 nmi).
Lake Michigan is 933 feet at its deepest. It has Michigan on its north and east shores, Wisconsin on the west and Indiana and a small bit of Illinois on the south. It is connected to the Mississippi through canals.
Superior is 1335 feet. Lake Superior has more water than the other 4 put together plus 3 more Lake Eries. If the water supply were shut off it would take over 200 years to drain Lake Superior by its outlet alone. Lake Superior is so clear you can see 30m down. I lived on the Lake for 6 years in college and grad school. My Grandpa was born and raised in Copper Harbor the furthest north city in Michigan, right on the lake, and we still have the cottage in the family he was raised in.
Fun fact there is a waterfall at the bottom of Lake Huron that spans the Lake. It was active before the current Lakes filled. The Great Lakes have some of the most interesting geologic history in the world right in the middle of the craton.
I went to Michigan Tech for undergrad and 1st year of of my masters. Finished at Michigan. All my free time was spent hunting and fishing. Well maybe not all, I do remember some booze and girls involved.

Lake Erie is the closest to Ohio. A ferry goes there from Sandusky to Pelee Island.
It averages 195’ deep but is 750’ at its deepest. I was just wondering if they’ll say it’s too deep to recover any craft.
It's frozen
Probably not.
