I’m suspicious of this. This is a Christian Missionary Alliance Church, which has just adopted woke views about a year ago that go against what the Bible teaches. They now say women can teach over other men and become lead pastors, that homosexuality and gender identity is not necessarily a choice so such individuals can still serve in leadership, and that their churches can no longer say that evolution is wrong.
Whoever Is Not Against Us Is for Us
Mark 9:38 “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”
39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us. 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.
I agree. But are they speaking against the word of God? Are they claiming Jesus is NOT the savior of mankind as He proclaimed? The one true Son of God? Are they singing songs that claim otherwise?
If they’re not, then I don’t personally see a problem. Jesus walked with prostitutes and lepers in his day and healed and forgave them all. We will not win this war if we do not rally around the message of loving your neighbor.
The LGBT student singing on stage about the love of Jesus Christ is doing a million times more for us than the far right individual shutting doors on those they disagree with. The day that I am perfect is the day I will judge that student, until then carry on soldier.
I judge by the same measures I expect to be judged by.
I personally try to follow the Word of God with every dot and iota. If you aren’t convicted the same way then I’ll judge you for it too because I expect to be judged by the same measure. It’s not our job to reduce the Word of God to save people, it is the Father that draws them.
Here is a true statement that should be accepted without question: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I am the worst of them.
If Paul the apostle is the worst of sinners what does that make you?
Mark 10:17-27 reads
17 As Jesus was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do so that I may inherit eternal life?” 18 But Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [a]was deeply dismayed by [b]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
If you claim to be following every “dot and iota” then let me ask you: have you even followed every one of the Ten Commandments since your youth like this rich young ruler?
Have you sold all you have and given it to the poor?
Remember that if you lie you’re even more of a terrible sinner…
Find me footage of something you think contradicts the word of God at this event and connect it back to scripture. Until you can do that I will struggle to understand how this event was negative to Christianity in any way.
Matthew 7:1-3
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
The point of this scripture is to warn you not to judge others. At some point in your life you will realize you do not want to be judged in the same way you judge others.
No, the point is to judge by the same measures your expect to be judged by. The text goes on “remove the log from your own eye before attempting to remove the speck from others.” It’s precisely instructions on HOW to judge.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
All sins are the same in the eyes of the Lord and make you fall short. Pretending LGBT is ok is a false witness, a proud look, and a lying tongue, all abominations to the Lord.
Yep; saw earlier that there supposedly was someone who was taken over by a demon there and that people there were calling it out of her. Sounded all made up and something very off about this whole thing now. It is starting to sound more and more scripted, even though a lot of people truly going there thinking it is all authentic.
I'm a sceptic but agree that it's better to have this than drag queen story hour. I hope it is real and highly contagious. Really though it may be more like a flash dance event. It has a lot of publicity that is attracting people. They are coming from all over the world to be a part of this? Whose preaching? Good luck.
We just had a memorial vigil for one of the victims of the Michigan State University shooting. Church was packed wall to wall with tons of praise. Never seen anything like it, His presence is becoming known…
Step aside Mr. Trump, The God of the Universe is taking over. He IS the Plan!
Amen.

Be wary.
This. Word on the street is LGBTQ students are leading worship there…a lot of liberal Christian’s saying this is the new inclusive revival 🤦♂️

Thank you for this. I love this community, but we often try to find the negative in everything. This is a great event, they’re praising Christ.
Yes.. it beats drag story time like someone mentioned
Speaking against the Word of God IS negative...

Never said it was negative. Said it was suspect because of CMA

Is the sin of LGBT worse that adultery?
John 8:1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. Powerful.
Speaking against the Word of God is clearly against Christ.
Even the Anti-Christ would fool true believers if God did not allow it.
My hopes have been dashed too many times by this sort of thing. It often is not what it seems (particularly when it gains this much attention).
Yep; saw earlier that there supposedly was someone who was taken over by a demon there and that people there were calling it out of her. Spread it!

I listened to audio of the singing coming from the chapel and it was angelic, electric, truly awe inspiring.
It only takes a spark to spread a fire! Go Holy Spirit!! May the spark in each of us IGNiTE! 🙏🏻❤️
