Hi frens, I have a friend that was dismissed from a large corporation in CT despite the fact she was working from home without on issue during COVID. She is looking for an attorney to help her but none will take case, they say it is not settled law yet so they can't do it. I've seen recommendations here for who to call for an attorney, but cant locate the posts. Also, they have to be licensed in CT. The corporation hired a DC lawyer which is interesting......

I was expecting to be fired but instead got a shadow demotion, absolute minimum raises, and my career path destroyed. I still want to sue for damages including but not limited to the duress they put me under for threatening my job over experimental injections.
Do it. Thomas Renz might be able to help you.
And as for it being 'settled law,' any attorney who told her that is full of balogna and doesn't even understand the law. Mandates ARE NOT LAW. There ARE no LAWS requiring the vaxx. In fact, the Constitution protects people from having to take them.
16 Am Jur 2D Section 98. An emergency can not create power and no emergency justifies the violation of ANY OF THE PROVISIONS of the United States Constitution or States Constitutions. Also, 16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177 late 2d, Sec 256
5 USC §6338. Prohibition of coercion (Text contains those laws in effect on November 3, 2021) (a) An employee may not directly or indirectly intimidate, threaten, or coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any other employee for the purpose of interfering with any right which such employee may have with respect to contributing, receiving, or using annual leave under this subchapter. (b) For the purpose of subsection (a), the term "intimidate, threaten, or coerce" includes promising to confer or conferring any benefit (such as an appointment, promotion, or compensation), or effecting or threatening to effect any reprisal (such as deprivation of appointment, promotion, or compensation). (Added §2(a), Oct. 31, 1988.)
16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177 late 2d, Sec 256 The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be In agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows:
The General rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.
Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it.....
A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the lend, it is superseded thereby.
No one Is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.
Furthermore, It is unlawful for [COMPANY] to attempt to enforce local ordinances. An ordinance is an enacted order. Only law enforcement can act in this capacity.

And there is more.... The critical issue here is that there is NO law requiring an adult to be vax☠xinated, period. Corporations are not medical practitioners, nor are they medically insured. Corporations cannot make policy that imitates law, especially when there is no such law. This is an usurpation of the legislature. Corporate policy making is strictly limited to the production of its product. Medical information is personal and private for a very good reason.
Fren, you misread that. OP said the attorneys say it is not settled law so they can't take the case (probably meaning they don't have the resources to be the test case) but great recommendation of Thomas Renz :)
Perhaps I didn't express myself well. My point was that there IS no law requiring her to take a vaxx. The attorneys know that and for them to say 'it's not settled' is a cop-out. It IS settled. There is no law requiring that. And even if there were such a law, it would be an unconstitutional law, which by definition, is illegal.
Ah, now I get it. But to be fair, it does take a lot of resources (money, man power, and the courage to see it through) to go up against a large corporation/the government. Look at the J6 prisoners. Everything being done is unconstitutional and therefore illegal but courts are allowing it.
I agree. But what do we do? Just cave to the corruption? That's why we need plenty of lawyers like Renz, who actually care about the constitution and the subversion by so many in government.
Just like we need more doctors to stand up. Just like we need more of our military to stand up by refusing the jabs. I wish more would but then I remember the masking rules (not laws) and how many willingly went along. Where I live very few people were willing to refuse to comply. We refusers had our own little network where we told each other where it was "safe" to disobey. In other words, no confrontations for those who just wanted to be left alone. There were a handful of refusers who were willing to face the abuse head on. Some seemingly enjoyed the confrontations and others like me had to give ourselves pep talks about standing strong before we entered buildings.
I guess my point is we mask refusers only risked being told to leave or having the police called even though no law was being broken. And yet very few people were willing to stand up to mask tyranny. It takes strong people to take a stand (or people like me who are weak but are willing to fake strength) and like with the American Revolution, very few are willing to take that stand publicly.
