Right to Try covered things that were not FDA approved. Because IVM is FDA approved for other uses, Right to Try did not help. That is why we need to pass Right to Treat.
This is not right to try. Right to try involves terminal and other life threatening conditions and is treatment of last resort that involves drugs not already FDA approved. This provision is a governmental power grab that will essentially take away autonomy from clinicians and completely places it in the hands of government and insurance company bean counters. It reduces medical treatment to one size fits all protocols and algorithms. Deviation for this could cost a provider their license. This is just one more nail in the coffin that started with the ACA and the ICD codes behemoth that was the beginning of the end for any kind of medical autonomy. This is exactly what I said would happen when the ACA was being passed. I was called a conspiracy nut job for even suggesting that this was going to happen. The government is also renewing efforts to go after alternative practitioners and will be coming after your supplements as well. They do not want you to have any choices. So stay vigilant.
By the way, they just added a few new ICD codes for the partial jabbed and the unjabbed along with a few codes as to reasons why a patient may be vaxxine hesitant or outright refusal. Setting the groundwork for declaring someone mentally ill maybe? This went live last month. What do you think this information will be used for? So don't be surprised if the next time to go to your provider you are asked about this. Why? Because there is also a new code that allows them to charge out for vaxxine counseling. So, if they can make a few bucks, they will do it especially if you are in managed care or on Medicare/Medicaid. The government is trying to collect data on the unjabbed. If you do not need to see a doctor, you have nothing to worry about. But, if you have to see a doctor because you have to take meds, just be aware.
I thought Trump signed the right to try act into law? By doing this and refusing meds to patients havnt they broken federal law?

Great point!
If passed through Congress, this bill may very well override the law Trump signed.
