I agree with your observations. However, sometimes God also miraculously even allows GAW frens to step out of the shadows and become real-life friends and family. Focus on Him, deepening your relationship with Christ first of all, and He will fill your deep needs in ways you would never expect. 🙏

Oh yes, it isn't ideal and you might feel the need to hold back identifying data to try to retain anonymity. You don't know exactly who you are talking to.
Even given that, I have only had good experiences having a couple of messages or even more with other GAW users, You know many of us already by our posts over the years.
