After we go back to the gold standard and Trump destroys the cartel and the price of silver skyrockets Mexico will be a very wealthy Nation and I don't think we'll have a border problem much anymore.

Chicago is not on the list because all the thugs there are bad shots and more wounded than killed.

Lived near Celaya a couple years. Had no idea it was one of the most violent towns, although I did frequently see Federales rolling by in their trucks trying to look mean. Shopped at Costco there a lot. Hubs left his golf clubs in his trunk at the Walmart parking lot in Celaya. Thieves broke into his car and stole everything. Gave him a big "I-Tody-So!" Police pretended to shake down the car washing gang always engaged in front of the parking lot. Me: "They're working together, OK? They're working together!"
But the coolest thing happened on the way home one day at sunset near Celaya. There was a very unusual sunset cloud formation resembling the Jesus statue in Rio. Looked like a gigantic Jesus flying off into the sunset, arms outstretched, hair and clothes all aflame and flying in the "wind.". Shoulda asked hubs to take a photo.
Come to think of it, when he comes back, it'll look a bit like that, his figure unmistakable in the sky.
Chicago is the reason that liberal/communism/MSM Made up the useless stat of homicides per 100K. There are 762 shot and killed in Chicago every year and many more shot. NO WHERE in the USA comes close.

The Mexico Citizens Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice releases its findings on the homicide rate in cities with populations over 300,000 around the world every year.
Statista's Katharina Buchholz shows in the following infographic, the world's top 10 most violent cities, with Mexican city Colima in first place and New Orleans in the U.S. state of Louisiana ranking eighth.
Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, had ranked first in previous editions, but due to the situation in the country, data is no longer available. The majority of the violence in Latin America can be attributed to drug trafficking, gang warfare and political instability.
Another country that appears among the top 50 is Brazil at ten cities, the highest ranked being Mossoró in the country's North in the 11th spot.
Also featured on the list frequently are Colombia (six cities starting from Cali in rank 32) and South Africa (four cities, including Cape Town and two more ranked in the top 20).
The continental United States racks up seven mentions in total. Other than New Orleans, Baltimore (rank 17), Detroit (rank 23), Memphis (rank 25), Cleveland (rank 27), Milwaukee (rank 39) and Philadelphia (rank 46) make the list.

If you squint a little, you can see an inverted triangle of violence.... suggesting that it starts at a point deep in Mexico and spreads upward to the US border... that is, if we HAD a border. We USED to have a border, I remember it well. Ah, GOOD TIMES!
