You can buy edibles almost anywhere in Canada. Don’t drive downtown Toronto - especially rush hour - a 5 minute drive can turn into 45 minutes.
Dude whatever you do don't transport any narcotics across the border, it's just not worth any headache should you get caught. Like I wouldn't want to be tried by 12 Canadians imo, they're probably all ccp plants at this point. If I'm crossing borders I always travel lite, just snacks and clothes, but hey you do you man just giving you fair warning

Cannabis is legal in Canada. No need to smuggle anything across the boarder - just buy some when you get there.
Not sure about US citizens but in CCPanada you can NOT cross the border unless you are JABBED.

That was dropped. I think the US is pretty much alone in the Western world requiring vax entry, although at peak crazy Canada was worse, not even allowing their own citizens to fly domestically.

Italian poutine is pretty good.. instead of gravy it's spaghetti sauce. When you're in Montreal go to Cosmo's (on Sherbrooke Street) for a dirty greasy breakfast...any time of day... The pot stores in Montreal are called SQDC. If the weather permits check out the old port. It's a big tourist attraction

In my opinion, stay away from Montreal at all costs. Quebec City is awesome, as are other parts of Quebec, but I hate Montreal with all passion. Generally, the drivers are insane, the people are nasty PsofS, and if you drop something, don’t bend down to pick it up...especially if you see creatures with bandanas in their pockets. Just think dropping the soap.
P.E. Turdeau ruined Montreal, and it has gotten worse and worse every year. They have good marketing of their city, but that’s all.
Enjoy your visit everywhere else, though.
