Sarfraz Zaidi MD wrote a book "Power Of Vitmin D" and it has great information and studies on Vitamin D. The key to Vitamin D is to know how much is currently in your body. You do this through a blood test and it needs to be in the 50-60 range...so the Osage you should are is dependent on that. I take 10,000 IU's and a Super K every day...have for years...started at about 27 and am now at about 57. This book has great information...definitely worth it to learn all you can about D...
I hear ya! I prefer to have a choice of original live link or an archived link. But then if the poster doesn't post an archive then it gives me something to do :)
Archived link for those like me who don't want give up info to read it :)

I take 5000 IU's a day and my naturopath said that's approaching the reasonable limit for my body weight and fat ratio.
Vitamin D CAN be toxic at higher doses. It's not an attack on Vitamin D; it's actually a real thing.

Vitamin D is given to us naturally by Gods sunshine. Given the ingredients that are in sunscreens, I believe skin cancer is from that and not the sun.
