i'm very disappointed... I was not able to create an account on truth social for so many months since it was "released", and now I find that I can. And after a split second of excitement, I find that it requires my phone number?
What, do they wanna sell it to advertisers or something? Are they running some sort of scam operation? Why do they want my phone number? Is this a joke? If I enter my phone number, are they gonna require my proof of vaccination and central bank digital ID next?
I am not seeing how perpetuating this kind of disrespectful and privacy-breaching internet practice is supposed to make America great again...
They need it to verify that you are real and not a bot.
We already have Twitter,we don't need another bot machine.
i don't recall entering my phone number to make an account on this website. Is this website a bot machine?
Also, what about the simple bot verification where you just click a box, and occasionally click a few images of boats or whatever? Far less annoying than entering your phone number into yet another database...
I don't mind. I signed up on day one. Phone number and all. really not a big deal at all
Plus they likely want your phone # to enable SMS push notifications on your mobile, as they're assuming you'll likely want the app on your phone.
I put my number in when I opened my acc.
Clicking images doesn't stop the bots anymore.
It turns out you can just get a temporary number, so this only hurts legit numbers. (Potential hack)
Not sure if it works,I've heard it doesn't work on twitter.
I have been on since Android got on. No one ever contacted me.
I'm not complaining cus I expect them to call me. But more so cus it is disrespectful of privacy and follows the customs of new world order style internet practices. The fact that trump's website follows that pattern is not a good look.
And the more random ass, sketchy websites that you enter your phone number into, the more likely your personal data is to leak to marketers, advertisers, hackers, scammers, etc.
I gotta say I was not expoecting trump's website to follow the pattern of "random ass sketchy website" and I have to take this fact into consideration when deciding what to believe and where to place my trust...
I have no intention of ever joining TS. DJT sent me an email requesting I join. It was nice of him, but I decided against it. It's simply not for me.
I'm not giving my number to anyone and the 'save us from bots' story is bullshit. Do you need to be on TS? Quite frankly, the best stuff is posted here. You get more bang for your buck off Twitter these days.
That's fine. Just use other bot filled media.
Same epiphany a few days ago, then same experience, then same reflexions.
Legitimacy requires proof. TRUTH feels different because it is. You get there and find that it does not have the tacky feel of places like twitter. Besides, Trump wants to be able to text critical messages to subscribers if there is any sort of emergency, and I do not mind him having that capability

You don't have to use your phone for each login.
That website is interesting, but they charge money. And I assume if I search up a fake phone number that I can't access, they will send a verification code to that number that I won't see.
Verify's are on to them (disposable net numbers) and most are tracking their blocks of numbers now. Not reliable for verification now.
Any good and even random posts from TS are posted here anyways......usually MULTIPLE times. U don't even need it.
it's true. this site is impressively good. it shows you don't need fancy shit for a quality product. a simple website with good users is all it takes.
ultimately it won;t be anybody from within governments or corporations that will "save us from the cabal" but just simple people unplugging and living their own simple, wholesome lives with their friends and families that will end the cabal through sheer neglect
Agreed fren! Agreed

This site seems to let multiple people use the same #. You can see multiple verification codes in the text history.
Hey Q guys.
I hate sites that use a phone number to authentication. The excuse is that they are keeping us safe when all that is doing to ensuring they know exactly who/where we are when we login,
