for gardening, I like no-till myself, just look up lasagna gardening / lazy garden beds / ruth stout method / permaculture or anything like that.
Even if you don't have land, there's no good excuses. you can grow tomatoes in a pot, you can plant on unused public land, you can garden the wild forage-able plants to make them better. Gardening happens on a years timescale so don't miss a year

I worked at an organic farm, and even the paperwork load for organic certification was huge for the owner AND all the employees. You literally had to record where every pound of veggies came from and was sold to, like: "1000 lbs of carrots from field plot 7, and we sold 54 lbs this saturday at the farmer's market"

I'd guess that depending on your goals in life, this strategy could work fantastically. Like say, if your goal in life is to increase the divide among family members more and more based on difference of political and religious opinions, while trying to find ever-more-clever phrases to make yourself feel superior to your lefty relatives, this strategy of yours would work great.
However if you want to strengthen the familial, human-to-human connection between you and your relatives, so that the bond between family members once again becomes stronger than the bond between political parties and ther followers, then you might want to try a different strategy.
