Weird. It looks more like an F with him holding another line under it. See how the top part of the E isn't straight like the bottom?

To me, zoomed in on the letter(s), it looks like the edges of what looks like an F to me are finished - like a letter for a jacket or something - the bottom piece looks like a long block of wood painted white or something…
