Yes, circumcision too. I have written an expose on this subject. You can read about the history of it and more at this link. You can either scroll down in the comment section or just do a Ctrl "f" and type in 'Tewdryg' to find the complete expose. Below is a snippet from the posting.
My research: From the first century on, Christians took a strong stand against circumcision in the first century. Christians rejected circumcision at the Council at Jerusalem (Acts 15). Apostle St. Paul taught parents that they should not circumcise their children (Acts 21:25). The apostle Paul likened circumcision to slavery, and told “Jews” not to put a yoke on the necks of gentile disciples – “a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear.” – Acts 15:1-21. In Galations 2:1-5, Paul said a controversy about circumcision “arose because some false brothers [Pharisees and Sadducees] had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves.” In a reference to the old practices of genital mutilation, St. Paul warned Titus to beware of the "circumcision group". (Titus 1:10-16). Finally in Phillipians 3:1-11, Paul warns – “Watch out for those dogs, those men who do evil, those mutilators of the flesh.”
Christians did not circumcise their children until only in modern times when it was “medically” promoted within the last hundred years. The procedure accepted for medical use essentially was the Jewish peri'ah. More will be explained about peri'ah later on. The claim for imposing circumcision was an attempt to prevent masturbation.
After several studies were publicized concluding circumcision was medically unnecessary, starting in 1983, Thomas Wiswell, M.D. (Wiswell is a common Jewish surname) began to produce a series of egregiously flawed studies that claimed circumcision reduced the incidence of urinary tract infections. The reasoning switched from the 75 year claim of preventing masturbation to preventing urinary infections. All of Wiswell’s studies have long since been thoroughly discredited.
Transgenders need to accept who they are and appreciate the body they have. Work with what you have, don't mutilate it.
God has made everyone beautiful from birth. Mutlilation is an abomination against God's creation.
Including circumcision?
