Are we still pretending he was found guilty of posting memes?
Guys. He was found guilty of posting a phone number people could text to vote. That's election fraud and we should be happy at least SOMEBODY has been nailed for it. Doesn't matter that he was from our side.
If people actually look at what he did, rather than form opinions based on just reading headlines (something that happens embarrassingly often here) I think it would be difficult for them to argue he's innocent. With a clear conscience, anyway.
You just can’t circumvent those exceptions by posting them in a meme format.
If a lib (big if, because we all know they can’t meme) did this, we would all be very upset. And rightfully so, because it’s illegal to disenfranchise voters by giving wrong information on how to vote.
This is hopefully setting some precedence for future cases.
Calling it a “meme” is stupid, what he did was illegal, and I’m happy he’s punished.

Yeah, what he did was sketchy AF.

Bull. Fuckin. Shit. https://www.memedefensefund.com
Meme? He disenfranchised 5000 voters.
What he did was illegal, and I’m very happy he’s punished.
Now do the rest.
Correct. Guy fucked up. Now let's get the rest of them.
When memes are outlawed, only outlaws will have memes 😔
They're implementing meme control as we speak!
There are some exceptions to the 1st amendment.
