That wasnt the baby boom. The baby boom started after WW2. I should know I am a baby boomer. So it has nothing to do with the crash of 29 which was mostly lies anyway.
Baby booms are an indication of economic prosperity. The 50's after WW2 in the US is a good example, as you mentioned.
