Will he be wearing a boot now?
Das boot!
If broken, would it be walking boot or a cast? Not sure the conditions for boot vs cast. Femur is bad. If "hospitalized", i would think the break would be severe enough, this fool won't be walking. If it's a boot, then we know BS lol
Let's wait and see.
...a lot of "falling" among the geriatric senate crowd lately....
Falling, failure, fascism etc.
...indeed...
A sign of just how old many of them are.
...valid observation....
Da Nang Dick had a fall? Lots of those old farts taking tumbles lately.
His fall was probably due to an old war wound.
I believe it was a horrible typewriter accident.
... another one bites the dust! πΌπΆπ΅
The most common fix for a femur break is to put a rod in. Easy 1 hr surgery, they align the bone so it will heal straight. That is for a simple break. No boot, itβs the upper leg bone. Iβm 70 and falling is a real hazard, just sprained my ankle in a fall 2 weeks ago. Balance is not as good as when I was younger, also bad knees make you unsteady. The older you get the more care is required for every move you make. Sucks but it is what it is.
Yeah, I got mine fractured after a horse kicked me (well he kicked the horse I was on and my leg got in the way.) I was stuck in a full leg cast, upper thigh to foot, all that summer, it sucked. Was just a kid still though so it healed up great.
My experience, used to be an OR tech, is that the older you are the more likely you get a rod. Used to see lots of little old ladies getting this type of injury, weak bones I guess.
That's true, my mother-in-love got a full hip replacement at 96 in the middle of the scamdemic. And she barely fell! Miraculously her caretaker was allowed in the hospital room with her, just not OUT of the room. And absolutely no visitors. I managed to get past their dumbshit security 3 times though. (The 3rd time I just put a ball cap and apron on and carried the food I made her right past the nurses...who asked her later what "the chef" had brought her). They had every intention of just letting her die in there though, and the surgeon was stunned when she walked in a year later for a follow up. Sadly we lost her at 98 this December.
makes sense, mom broke her arm just slipping in shower, dr was amazed at how quickly she healed up and strengthened up "at her age", Grandma stepped off a curb wrong and broke her ankle as well once when she was 80ish and grampa died of a heart attack because he slipped and missed a step going down a small step ladder at almost 90.
Femur is I believe the biggest and strongest bone in the body, he must be made from chalk.
Look for Das Boot ehh!!
Seems like brace boots and broken legs are the in thing this year, people in politics and celebs keep popping up wearing them. Year to be "clumsy" if you work certain, non-physically demanding jobs.
It's musical chairs in the senate. Seniors who should be in retirement instead of in congress.π
He paid his membership to the Ankle Monitor Club haha Loser
Another covid hospitalization....
I recently broke a leg and never wore a boot.
