Yesterday we saw their favourites give mediocre 5-minute speeches or even pre-recorded 2-minute video pitches to the crowd at the NRA convention in Indiana. Pence, DeSantis, Haley, Pompeo, etc… anyone but Trump.
Then Trump comes out to an adrenaline-pumping video, standing ovation, chants of USA USA, and patriots going wild while Lee Greenwood’s classic blasted to the crowd. He proceeds to speak for over an hour to the captivated crowd.
This is such a good illustration. They lie and lie and lie about him losing support and the truth is that he is full steam ahead GAINING support. Our world is so upside down - nothing 'they' say is true.
Unfortunately, my husband believes their lies that Trump is losing support and cannot win. But then again he still reads the Wallstreet Journal and watches Faux news

He is an Independent who used to be a Dem. When we lived in Upstate, NY he voted for the carpetbagger Hillary for State Senator crossing out my vote.
He now hates HRC and voted for Trump the last two elections. He would vote for him again if he is the nominee. But he doesn't think Trump will win bc he thinks too many people are triggered by Trump.
He's going to be pleasantly surprised.
People tell me that Trump says the same thing every speech. I don’t care if his speeches sound the same. I remind myself that I have been on the Journey with Trump, Q, and my frens at GAW since the beginning. Each speech has new breadcrumbs and Newbies in attendance.
What some people call 'The same thing' I call being Consistent...He doesn't pander to different crowds...
A bit of both in my opinion. He puts a bit of new stuff in each speech, but keeps hammering the main messages.

When you compare any Trump speech and it's reaction with Biden's speech in Dublin recently, they are in a totally different class. Professional versus amateur.
...and Trump doesn't need to go to another country to find a crowd that likes him.
