Nothing Magellan or any other sea-faring captain did ever proved a "globe". You do understand that a compass points to magnetic north don't you? That makes heading east and west a CIRCLE on a plane - not straight lines. And it all makes perfect sense.
"Proving by touch" is precisely what we argue. All your God-given senses and real life experience tells you that you live on a flat, motionless plane. Neither you, nor anybody else has ever made arrangements to handle traveling on a curved globe ball.
Have you ever been "in orbit"? We contend that nobody has ever been "in orbit" so this is another non-proof. Only government agencies have ever claimed to have been "in orbit", and we all know just how trustworthy they are here on this board, don't we?
I don't have the problem, you do. I see the sky is blue, the grass is green as well as seeing no evidence of curvature anywhere I look, nor do I sense the earth is in motion at any time. You've got to BELIEVE in the globe lie to even pretend that this isn't your experience.
The GPS system is a mathematical model that has leveraged the deception of "magnetic declination" which was used by earlier sea-farers. I can't stress this enough - they're both based on a MAN-MADE MATHEMATICAL MODEL. Man made up this idea to stretch the actual earth onto a globe.
Math isn't "reality". Take away the made-up magnetic declination from all these GPS and navigation systems and the globe vanishes...just like that.
Research is invaluable. To call it worthless suggests you're afraid to do it. Maybe you could explain to me why YouTube and Google have shadow-banned and de-prioritized every single legitimate flat earth researcher and instead promote nothing but fake and false videos and groups (like "The Flat Earth Society") as the first thing people will see when they decide to dip their toes in?
What's the point of hiding and suppressing the legitimate researchers if it's all just a giant CIA operation? Google and YouTube (owned by the CIA) should be promoting these guys to the top of the list so we can all see how idiotic it all is, right?
You won't be able to offer a rational explanation for this because there isn't one. And this fact alone should tell you that legit flat earth researchers are being HEAVILY CENSORED by the controlling establishment.

I'm the first to admit I was fooled all my life until 2017, and even then I rejected flat earth. I spent nearly 2 years trying to shut up a buddy of mine that wouldn't stop talking about it. But in the end, I had to eat humble pie because I couldn't find a single piece of scientific evidence to support the globe. Instead, I found dozens if not hundreds of pieces of evidence that support the opposite.
Your first step out of the globe lie is to admit there's a chance you've been fooled. If you can't at least do that, you're just going to go on supporting the controlling cabals lies.
Lots of nonsense, but I will try. Flat Earth produces longer paths east-west in the southern hemisphere than are actually experienced. We also see the southern hemisphere of stars. Proving by touch involves that which is consistent with geometry. Long ago, geometers found that it was impossible to create a flat map without distortion.
Plenty of people have been in orbit, able to look out the windows, including civilians not attached to governments. And Russians. And Chinese. And French. And other nations. Not to mention satellites that were observed in orbit around the world, according to their predicted motion around a globe. And pictures taken from far enough away to see the Earth in its entirety. But this skips over the fact that circumnavigation (by sea and air) proved the validity of Great Circle routes, which are impossible if the Earth were flat. And that it is possible to stand on the South Pole (as well as on the North Pole, provided there are ice floes). You have the discreditable habit of denying the evidence against you by claiming "it is all fake," but you have no evidence that there is any fakery---and you cannot erase the attributes of a global Earth (e.g., the horizon, beyond which things will move out of sight). There is no Flat Earth map. Why is that? There is no Flat Earth book of astrodynamics. Why is that? (Probably because it couldn't withstand the heat of criticism.)
We have no ability to sense velocity. You can fly in an airplane in perfect peace, yet have no idea how fast you are flying. And the centrifugal acceleration is so tiny, we cannot notice it (I've done the math). The Earth is so vast, compared to our local experience, that we cannot tell the curvature from flatness. It only shows up special cases (e.g., the horizon). But this is the very thing that prevents us from making distortion-free maps. Longitude lines tend to converge toward the poles. Latitude lines tend to shorten, closer to the poles. The veracity of Great Circle paths has been proven over the ages by sea and air and space. There is no "ice wall"...or why aren't there photos? And photos over the edge? The point is, you have absolutely no evidence of key features of a Flat Earth.
GPS is based on the Earth as a sphere and has no relationship to magnetic poles. Nor does a gyrocompass.
I'm not interested in disproving the existence of paranoid conspiracies. It is your obligation to prove them, with substantial evidence. Being ignorant of geography and geophysics is not a good start. It was evidently easy to fool you. You didn't know what the Earth really was.

You my fren are proving that you have done zero research. There are lots of the things out there that you demand to see. You need to look for yourself, man. Until you do, you won't know. Right now, you don't know. Try and "understand" both views. Are you afraid to find out?
No, you are unable to produce, and you don't know anything about geography, geophysics, or astronomy. I've spent my whole life seeing. I have traveled halfway around the world (different time zone, different constellations, different passage of the Sun) because I have family in southern Africa. Lots of horizon, as the globe unreels beneath the airplane, showing first one terrain and then another, as far as the eye can see. You can't explain space travel or the use of GPS or the use of geostationary communication satellites. If you know anything, why is it so hard to cough it up?

Of course we do. We can only see so far. There is a limit to our vision. Just look down a straight row of telephone poles or train tracks or a long highway and you will see only so far due to the angular resolution of the lens of your eye.
The globe community is literally down to just 2 arguments and you've leveraged one of them, which is the "observational proof". The globers don't seem to understand that these observations can (and DO) also work on a plane earth. Their other argument is their "mathematical models", all which contain assumptions they're unwilling to admit to of course.
What kind of nonsense is this? A map is a map. It should represent reality and nothing else. Further, a map is nothing but a "representation" of reality, never reality itself. So whatever point you're trying to make here doesn't further your argument.
Name one please. And where are there pictures and videos?
Once again, provide just one example. We should have, at a minimum, hundreds, even thousands of minimum 90-minute videos (one alleged trip around the globe), but preferably 24x7 videos to prove such a claim. Why do none exist?
NASA has admitted that all their "pictures" are anything but...rather they are "composite IMAGES" that they have to "stitch together" in photoshop. The only they claim not like this is the famous 1972 "Blue Marble" image, but it was demonstrated that this was an entirely photoshopped image too.
Nothing "impossible" about this at all. I just explained it to you. Compasses point to magnetic north. The "circle route" is precisely what you would expect with a magnetic source in the center of a plane that they tracked. Why is this so hard to understand?
Have you ever been to either of these "poles"? Would you be surprised to learn you couldn't go to either, even if you wanted to and had the money to finance the trip yourself? You just have to trust your government that what they claim is true...a sad reality.

Amazing that nobody can come up with a scientific way to test any earth acceleration, eh? 1000 MPH spinning globe chasing a giant ball of hot gas at 66,600 MPH, circling the center of the milky way galaxy at 500,000 MPH, jettisoning away from the original Big Bang at 2,000,000 MPH and nobody can figure out a way to measure any of it. This is the height of absurdity and you know it deep down.

Yet more nonsense. You can take any earth curvature calculator or use the perfectly usable 8-inches per mile squared up to 500 miles. Either way, the technology exists today with telescopic lenses to take video and pictures of objects that should be hidden by this so-called curvature. And lo and behold, what do we find? Thousands of videos and pictures now showing not a lick of curvature and the ability to zoom into objects 10+ miles away that should be hidden if there was any.
You're arguing from the false globe model every time you try to make a point with these mapping arguments. You can't start your argument with the ASSUMPTION you're trying to prove already in it.
For starters, there are hundreds of videos and photos out there. Why would you assume there aren't any? Further, did you know you and I aren't allowed to travel beyond the 60th parallel independently? The one and only "international treaty" agreed to by all nations on earth is exactly this. Give it a try sometime, you'll be swiftly rounded up by the nearest national coast guard or military and likely will be brought to justice for trying such a stunt! That you can pay $20K+ to take a government-sponsored trip to a little tiny section of the Antarctic wall (an island actually) further proves the point. Every government in the world is in league with each other to PREVENT you from doing your own research on Antarctica. I wonder why that would be seeing as how they have nothing to hide of course!

Most of us believe there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of other continents beyond the Antarctic ice wall. Of course we can't prove it because we aren't allowed to even try. But there are many old maps out there that show these continents do indeed exist. Dare I say they exist in "outer space" while we occupy the "inner space"? Could this be were "Extra-Terra" exists, where "extraterrestrials" live?

The coup de grace for me is that Google, YouTube and the MSM work so hard to hide legitimate flat earth research from the masses. This is evidence that speaks volumes to me. It makes no sense that they would do this. Absolutely none.
I could make a list a mile long of evidence for flat earth but the most important thing to note is that we are being prevented from achieving grandiose proofs like traveling beyond Antarctica, visiting the north pole, demonstrating there's a firmament above us (we estimate roughly 100 miles is all the higher we can go) and the like.
Why the censorship? Why curtail free travel? Why an endless stream of lies, many of which have long since been shown?

How do you suppose sea captains navigated with the sextant for so many centuries? Wouldn't they need a plane to base their triangulation on? Look it up since you're so fond of these ideas. You can't triangulate with a curved globe as the base of your triangle. It's all so simple...
Me neither. I'm only interested in one thing --> TRUTH. You'd think more people on this board would be too, but apparently you're all just not yet ready to consider how badly you've been fooled. There isn't a lick of "paranoia" in flat earth.
And now you finish with the "Proof of claim reversal fallacy" so prevalent today. The CLAIM of the globe has been made by our establishment institutions. As such, he who makes the claim bears the burden of proof so it falls on them (you by proxy). There's literally a $90,000 dollar reward for a SINGLE PROOF of the globe that's been on offer for nearly 3 years now, but strangely has yet to be claimed. I've grown weary of the cop out argument that "they'll never pay it" or that "they'll never accept our proof" whining I've seen, especially here on GA. I happen to know the guy making the offer and I'm happy to take your "irrefutable proof" of the globe directly to the guy making the offer if you don't want to, and I'll split the proceeds with you. Because frankly, I could use an extra $45K. And think how satisfied you'll be with an extra $45K as well as single-handedly ending the crazy flat earth movement all in one fell swoop!!

I've made this offer to at least 10 people here on GA alone and as of yet, nobody has stepped up to provide their irrefutable proof of the globe. I wonder why that is exactly? You all have 200+ years of science, academia, government and every other powerful institution on your side. And we're just a bunch of independent truthers. It's not even a fair fight no matter how you slice it.
So how about it? One SCIENTIFIC PROOF is all we need. And for the record, I'll change back to being a globe-earther in a heartbeat if you've got it. I've got no skin in the game. I'm only interested in the truth, nothing more. And that's why I'm now on the side of the flat-earthers, because they keep showing all the globe lies, week after week, year after year.
We were all fooled. Some of us have realized it, but the majority has not yet. The hardest lies to disprove are the early-life belief imprints, and our Jesuit handlers got that globe into our baby mobiles and posters (I had both) as well as our children's programming and of course the globe is front and center in every kindergartner and first-grader classroom all across the western world. Imagine that, right out of the gate we get taught our ABCs, numerals and globes.
Okay. You win. I don't have the patience to dissect all your blather. Except to point out that the stars are organized in angular space. One can measure the angles from one star to its neighbors. Angular space is like the interior surface of a globe. If Earth were flat, we would see only one half of this angular space (2 pi steradians). But we can see all of it (4 pi steradians). Which is possible only if we can access the southern surface of the Earth. And not fall off the edge. Sorry, Charlie. Reality is against you. You are the fool.
All you guys seem to have is unkind ad-hominem attacks, observational arguments and mathematical models loaded with assumptions, thus demonstrating how truly weak your position is. This is what the globe-defending community has been reduced to.
Reality is precisely what I can see, feel, hear, taste and touch. And not a one of these senses tells me I'm on a 1000 MPH spinning ball, with Australians standing upside down below me, circling a ball of hot gas at 66,600 MPH in an ELLIPTICAL orbit, meaning the phake and ghey ball earth must be speeding up and slowing down, which nobody can ever detect.
"Reality" is not the same thing as "beliefs". You have masterfully confused the two.
