Absolutely. Poisoning the well is exactly what these sorts of things do. It derails conversations and discredits anyone.
The moon mission is an interesting one, because there's a lot of conflicting information on it and it's far closer to the realm of possibility than other fringe conspiracy theories (flat Earth, as a present example.)
I think it's good to ask questions, but when you are challenging accepted facts of history or physics, it's important to present your case in a good way but that's often not what is done.
You can always tell when people have this weird insatiable compulsion to be right and prove everyone else wrong, no matter how many holes are in their theories.
I don't think all these people are stupid necessarily, but I do believe that they are unwittingly poisoning the well in the interests of other people.
The follow up question is when did the government ever tell the American people the truth?
Oh, of course. Some of the accounts of the people actually involved in that (astronauts, scientists, etc.) are interesting in some ways, disconcerting in others.
I personally just don't believe that it was a hoax; however I do like to ask questions and the questions that people ask are sometimes pretty damn good ones.
It does poison the well though, because it's used to discredit people and conversations and key points that have nothing to do with it.
Of course, there's many wells in the discussion realm. If you are a 'Q' follower, you're already called a dangerous, gun-toting conspiracy theorist. There are so many subjects not really germane, but from time to time there's an interesting take outside of 'Q'. I try to keep it close to home, but I'm sure some subjects I posted could be considered to be on the border. I suppose we could talk about star gates, Looking Glass, Solar Warden, cattle mutilation, etc., etc. but where does it stop? Someone posted about Billy Shears Campbell and I thought it was very scintillating and interesting..

Explain what? I've seen the liftoff video before, but never the colors. It is a camera artifact. You have to realize that these cameras were not studio TV cameras and they were in a stark illumination environment. It is not uncommon for frame-by-frame images to have transient artifacts. The mechanics of the liftoff were possible only in a zero-g vacuum environment, however.

Pretty snazzy tape. So, what is this supposed to be? A mock-up or the real thing? And which real thing? And where is the NASA photo original? And what is their explanation? Taping down non-structural coverings is not a design or production fault. Need more info.
Also "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon" is as close as it gets to a smoking gun. It shows the astronauts in the Apollo capsule faking pictures of Earth at a distance...unbelievable.
Kinda like the Sandy Hook story. I rest my case!
