A good man. I bet his trip to heaven was quick and the doors opened very smoothly. God must have a big smile on His face knowing this man did all he could to get as many people to believe in Him. Well.... some may not have a problem with it, but he's essentially done a 180 from his dad's beliefs and is not only championing the whole LGBTQ thing (including trans) but I heard him say that the scriptures that speak against that were just put there by men and that a lot of the Bible is that way. So, yeah, he doesn't hold the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. Last night, I heard Jack Hibbs say (and he said it grieved him to say it) that Andy Stanley is "apostate". Very sad. But, as I said, some here may just shrug and think nothing of it. But it had to have hurt his dad.
Wow, that's very tragic. I think that must have been a pretty recent thing since this is the first I'm hearing about it. I hope God changes his mind someday, hopefully sooner rather than later.
RIP sir!! I didn't agree with him on the rapture, but he brought a lot of truth! I liked how he brought past context to stories. It gave new incite to what the bible stories really meant. Rest well! "I hope to catch you up stream", at the River of Life! (Rev. 22) The last chapter of the bible! Amen :-)
Aw...some of his books were outstanding...especially the one on forgiveness...I learned a lot from his teaching...
Living in the Atlanta area we visited his church on occasion...and watched him on TV...a very gentle Southern man...a loss for the Christian world..
My mother-in-love knew him and ministered with him. I know he's celebrating up there with her.

I love him! I listen to his sermons every Sunday. I have learned so much from his teachings. 😢 He is among the warriors today fighting the battle.
I still enjoy watching his sermons.

He was a very intelligent man, and knew how to put thoughts together to make an overall statement.
I did one of his Bible studies and found it difficult to get into. Not engaging enough to hold my attention though his videos were interesting.
