Because man has free will...God's all loving nature provided a way for sinful man to be restored and to be made righteous through the shed blood of Jesus Christ...His omniscience just knows the eternal outcome of our decision to accept or reject Jesus...but the consequence of hell is dependent on every man's own decision concerning whether or not to accept what has been provided...it is amazing that God's love for us is beyond anything we can imagine...I would probably have just thrown in the towel and killed everyone in the flood...
Thank you, Tweety! My faith lies in Jesus alone, I don’t want to twist that. But when I try to evangelize, I’m often met with pushback around the question I asked. “Why would God ALLOW people to go to Hell if He knows everything and loves all?”
I get tripped up at that question and it even rocks the boat in regards to my own faith. When it happens I turn to scripture and am reminded that Jesus’s message was perfect.
Because of the fall in Genesis 3, all men are locked up in death. That is where they are born, just like a pregnant mother who is vaxed has chosen that for her unborn child. The law has shut up all under sin and in death, so that only those who accept Christ are able to escape (Gal. 3:22). Those who reject God and choose to remain one with Satan cannot have eternal life. God desires all men to be saved, (1 Tim. 2:4), but as Paul said to the Jews who rejected Christ, "they "judged THEMSELVES unworthy of eternal life (Acts. 13:46)." God's will for man is life. When man joins his will to God's will, he receives life.
Oh...great to hear you are not floundering...it is a question that non-Christians like to ask a lot...if they would only consider what Christ has done and really what a fantastic gift that is...they would get beyond the...why would God?...etc...great that you try to evangelize...people can be difficult sometimes...
God bless you.....hope all is well with the ongoing medical issues you are dealing with concerning your mother...
My husband is supposed to get his testerone blocking meds for free ($10,000 yearly value) HOWEVER they want to know all the supplements he is taking...I can see the writing on the wall....they will tell him to get off everything because he is enrolled in a study. He is not at all sure that the alternatives will work...and how the heck can he cope if his testosterone is at zero...it's always something...right...not sure how to figure this all out now....I am definitely frustrated dealing with my husband sometimes....he believes the doctors more than me because I am not a doctor....hahahahahaha.....so I can not know any truth about cancer or treatments or outcomes...I just get tired of that mindset...this is a hard struggle for anyone...easy to get down....it seems like the world is against you sometimes.....oh well...c'est la vie....
I used to ask it too and still ponder it, but falling back into Christ always seems to solve things. There’s a reason this world so readily attacks Christianity but let’s the other religions slide…
I feel for you in that struggle. My Mom readily told all her docs the new supplements she was on. I was of the opinion to keep that information close, I feel like once you start considering other options the system can turn on you fast…
Is your husband juicing? Looks at things like the Gerson Therapy. Many ways to heal out there, but it’s on the individual to explore and determine what that may be. I’ve taken some space with my family and mother as it’s taxed my mental health trying to break down the matrix walls.
Without free will/the ability to choose there is no love. (As Patriots, we value our freedom highly though not at the expense of all morality.) God is a just God, full of compassion, loving kindness. The cross is evidence of that. Both His justice and His mercy were satisfied. Though we may not always be personally aware of it. He surely gives ample opportunity to people to choose or to reject Him, His goodness, His wisdom as surely as He did in the Garden of Eden. He also provided a way of escape, doing for us what we could not do for ourselves and offering it to us. In this, He is also just and therefore loving. In human speak, what was unfair to Him is beyond fair to us. Is there any greater manifestation of love than this?
If this makes sense to you, pray for your enemies. To borrow the expression, "but for the grace of God", you or I could be one of them.
I could say more. I hope that this is helpful. I have pondered this a great deal myself.
PS-Because it is His will not that NONE should perish, He is long-suffering/patient with us. We determine our final destiny. Where there is life, there is hope.
The Almighty does not force anyone to love Him. He desires all souls to be saved to spend eternity with Him but only by choice. We are not automatons. In His presence there is no paradox and only unity. The dualities of good/evil, light/darkness, our good character/our bad character, only exist in this physical reality and allow us to have free will and the opportunity of choice. He conceals His awesome presence in this world to give us that choice because in His presence there is only unity.
Our entire lives are full of forks in the road - which way we will choose? True love is taking the risk that the one you love may not love you back. This world/reality is not our final destination - it is only the testing ground to prepare us for what He ultimately has in store for us - to live and stand in His presence forever. In order to stand in the presence of a perfect and holy God, the dross must be removed as we pass through the fire. His mercy, justice, and love, will carry us through that fire - but only if we desire it to be so.
In Led Zepplins 'Stairway to Heaven' Robert Plant sings,
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There’s still time to change the road you’re on
This verse is a metaphor informing the listener that even though you may have chosen the wrong path through life, you can change paths and seek redemption and refers to the lady "who's sure all that glitters is gold' in the first verse that is seeking to buy her way into Heaven.
I understand God is all-knowing but by simply giving us free will to shape our own destiny, there is some measure of self-determination in the equation. There are two paths we can follow and there is always time to choose the path to redemption. The fact God sent us His only Son, to die for our sins and provide us a path to redemption, shows us not all is set in stone.
Awesome explanation. I love the metaphor. What fun would life be without choice? We’re tested in everything else in life, why wouldn’t God do the same? Thank you for sharing
What confuses me is this. If God is all-loving and all-knowing, why would He bring a soul here knowing it is destined for Hell?
Because man has free will...God's all loving nature provided a way for sinful man to be restored and to be made righteous through the shed blood of Jesus Christ...His omniscience just knows the eternal outcome of our decision to accept or reject Jesus...but the consequence of hell is dependent on every man's own decision concerning whether or not to accept what has been provided...it is amazing that God's love for us is beyond anything we can imagine...I would probably have just thrown in the towel and killed everyone in the flood...
Good thing I am not God....

Thank you for the well-thought out response. You sound very knowledgeable on the subject, appreciate you sharing!

Also the old testament and the new says all Israel will be saved and shall glory.
