That theory doesn't make sense, unless the sale announcement comes out nearly immediately. Much easier to make the corporate sale and have his departure be explained as related to a change in management, philosophy, corporate strategy or whatever.

No way this is reality. Tucker Carlson was always part of an elite group and recently we all saw how he really felt about trump. i for one, have never trusted media, all of them. I'm not sure why people are still thinking he is different. He got uncovered for playing a side and the network doesn't want that shown.

Me thinks it is for other reasons. Perhaps for one there were too many revelations, Tucker push-back on narratives (ie. release of J6 videos, anti-vax reporting, dollar decoupling, etc.)
