I am objecting to this being written as BREAKING NEWS!

When it is OLD NEWS.

This happened 5 years ago. Why post it like it just happened and is a current threat at this very moment? That is fake news/fear porn.

If so, the headline should have read, "Breaking News! Pentagon admits it accidentally leaked toxic chemicals into the ___ river in 2018, poisoning local fisheries" or some such.

Then I'd have no issue with the post.
