Do they let you wear a mask for a mug shot? The whole point is to have a picture of the face of the perp.

Yes but you don’t get to keep a face covering on or sunglasses unless they are medical glasses that prevent seizures, one guy in my academy class had to constantly use dark glasses even indoors or he would see white flashes constantly.
