If the defense was able to restrict the evidence and argument to whether 2 seconds was sufficient to check signatures, and not whether the signatures overwhelmingly weren't matched, then the defense did a fucking awesome job.
I'm happy they got to present some evidence but this feels like a case that's not gonna go our way based on the usual technicalities of not being permitted to present the facts that matter.
