True. God forgives, but that doesn’t mean one escapes His punishment.
And I’d bet punishment is doled out based on the level of willfulness and egregiousness of the evil perpetrated
The bigger questions:
Do these people even believe they committed a wrong?
Are they remorseful?
How are they working to make up for their acts?
Or, are they just sorry the scam is up?
They believe that by telling us what they are doing in music, media and movies…. They are clearing their karma.
forgiveness is scary because it directly involves God. failure to forgive someone - God can't hear your prayers (pride is in the way) mark 11:24-26. further, unforgiveness turns you over to the tormentors (demons) matt 18:33-35. God basically says people naturally do evil stuff and cause transgression that requires forgiveness from the victim. if the victim fails to forgive, she becomes like her tormentor and evil spreads.
