The real problem is not (many of) the companies taking these woke actions. They are essentially blackmailed into doing so in order to maintain access to credit.
The real problem is the ESG regime that holds a gun to the heads of these corporations: "Promote woke or lose your credit account."
So the company is in a lose-lose position. They can lose their credit access or they can lose their customers. Either one leads to disaster.
Our job should be to push representatives to outlaw ESG and similar programs.
