Powerful stuff. Didn't know Ballard was mormon. I am an exmormon and what led me from that church was their stance on blacks and then my research into polygamy and pedophilia. I know there are wonderful people who are Mormons. My mother was a great woman. So, even though I see the truth, I am also very aware there are good people. Don't generalize.
I support both of these guys. Truly do, BUT, when Jim cites "That beautiful picture of me".... Later when Bannon is back on camera and you look for that picture, He's referring to a picture of Jesus that's over Bannons right shoulder.
Jim does drill it down and says it's Jesus working through Him, but that statement about the picture of Him kinda sticks in my mind and bugs me a little bit. I pray He truly is humble, I pray He's not delusional about His role. I believe God works through us all at certain times, but to put yourself on the level of being Jesus, not just portraying Him in a movie, kinda turns me off to be honest.
There were other islands.
Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. Isaiah 1:17

Fellow exmo…your story sounds like mine, and I share your perspective. Thanks for reminding us not to generalize.
This is the most important film for people to wake up. I will take my wife to see it.

IMO
Carry On!!!
You do realize there's a pun there because he's the actor who played Jesus in the Mel Gibson movie "the passion of the christ", right?
Yes, I've seen the movie a few times. He says it quite literally.
Don't get me wrong, He's a hard working dedicated to God, great person. I just felt that statement was off.
Carry On!!!
