Came here to say this. I had to double check my address.
Anon don't miss much
Yup. Boise is at tremonton and salt lake is at the Oregon border. And Washington dc is now at the border of pa.
LOL. They mixed up Idaho and Utah on their map making it hard to take their information seriously. Salt Lake is great if you like Mormons, they are all over the place.
Also how is Chicago not on this map?
Or Detroit, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Flint, etc....
Home prices are still very high here somehow.
Good eyes. I was wondering what you were talking about.
The graphic is wrong, but the Boise market is definitely down. That's after years of insanity on the up side.
This is after they all increased by 40%, so it's only a partial correction.
So the NEW average selling price is
Oakland 909k
San Francisco 1422k
Los Angeles 827k
Seattle 771k
Salt Lake City 490k
Boise 450k
Austin 471k
Philadelphia 261k
Washington DC 551k
Nuts!
BTW, I follow Rich Dad's on primary residences. It's a liability, not an asset. Does it cost you money (utilities, repairs, property tax) or make you money?
I wonder if Airbnb etc. may be partly to blame.

Ahh, no wonder the map is wrong... damn brits made it :)
Salt Lake seems like a nice place
I lived in Salt Lake City for a few years. Grew up by Hill Air Force Base. Its not bad. The city is not as highly concentrated Mormons as you'd imagine. Though the suburbs are. Its a big city so it is plagued with liberals, fags, homeless, gangs, crime, etc. Not as bad as many others large cities though. They used to give the homeless one-way greyhound tickets to Las Vegas to get rid of them. But I think that was more to clean up the city for the 2002 winter olympics.
The whole area from Ogden to SLC to Provo grew so fast. Its dense out there now. I think 4 connected counties (Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, Utah counties) in Utah make up over 75% of the poulation. I havent been there in years but if I could choose a city in Utah, Id live in Farmington or Kaysville (Davis county) which are about 20 minutes north of Salt Lake city. Logan is nice too, its close to the southern border of Idaho.
appreciate this as I am tryin to relocate somewhere less gay
All liberal?
Somebody needs a geography lesson...
