I have some of these. They are cool.
What do they feel like? Is it anything like a crisp dollar bill? I bought 5 of each of the One denomination
No, not at all. The coating is polymer.

so kind of plasticy. I think they would do a small fold into a bill fold, kind of a bend, but not fold in half very easily. They are not stiff but not as flimsy as that worthless paper in my purse. All of the gold is completely encased in the polymer, so it won't wear.
Like plastic. If you intend on carrying them, you'll want a long wallet.
I hate the feel of them. They're bendable, but not easily folded. Very pretty to look at however.
1000 Goldback Ones = 1 oz. gold
200 Goldback Fives = 1 oz. gold
100 Goldback Tens = 1 oz. gold
40 Goldback Twenty-Fives = 1 oz. gold
20 Goldback Fifties = 1 oz. gold
Has an exchange rate and change be exchanged for dollars: https://www.goldback.com/exchange-rate
I do have some of these, they are very pretty.
But just something to consider, the premiums on these are really really high. Just under double spot price for gold. Expect to be paying close to $4k per oz of actual gold. (But this holds true for most gold, the smaller the amount the higher the premiums)
Absolutely. I also buy silver in the 1/10 and 1/4 oz rounds because they're easily tradable and I definitely pay another more than if I just buy a 10 oz bar. But it's hard to trade a 10 oz bar. I'd have to melt it down
From what I've heard the 1gb denomination is made at a net loss.
I'd avoid putting those in a billfold. Wouldn't the gold flake off?
No. They are coated.
You can buy a special wallet, or you can just get a long wallet like the ones women carry.
Probably a bit too wide for your billfold. They don't fold very easily anyway.
We need to go back to the gold back
