Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
TMAO in hooved animals is a completely different story than in shellfish. Look at the constant of longer living cultures. Lots of seafood and poultry, less beef. Especially the Japanese, beef is a splurge whereas most meals are seafood, eggs, or chicken. In America, people eat beef almost daily and the majority of our celebrations revolve around beef.
Yeah, I meant health. They make ester C in every format. Ester C IS is the king of C besides Liposomal. I wish Linus Pauling was around so he could have studied ester instead of the plain citric acid he would use.
Pom brand is ok but not really the best. You have a costco membership? They sell a 64 oz bottle of real Pomegranste juice for $7 otherwise you can not go wrong with Langers all Pom. A little bitter because it is the whole pom but it effective.
Taureate? Here is one of many studies https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6435948/ it is simply the most effective mag for the heart. I like Kal labs powder...it dissolves easy and is very bioavailable. Reduced my palpitations almost entirely and it just really helps overall health
Your Turmeric is great, with the black pepper 15mg. When you run out, if you prefer pills, I would definitely get Solgar. They make excellent supplements and they have a few different formulas. Solgar No. 7 - Joint Support and Comfort - 105 Vegetarian Capsules - Increased Mobility & Flexibility - Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Non-GMO - 105 Count https://a.co/d/70QV4PY this is pricey but the blend guarantees effectiveness.
The bike is the best way to get LISS in. LISS is the key here. And you can do it while watching anime or Q stuff or whatever kind of media you enjoy
Sadly, there are no Costcos within at least 30 miles.
I had to look up what LISS was--I'd never heard it before. My exercise HAD been a video game called Ring Fit Adventure, which is incredibly newbie-friendly and well worth checking out if you have a Switch. Seriously.
I'll tack on a pomegranate juice recommendation, i personally really enjoy the Sprouts brand pom juice, not overtly bitter, if thats a better option at all for you
My wife and I love Ring Fit, we need to get back on it. We had to stop due to some home issues but I think soon we will get back on the ring.
