God I command protection over President Donald Trump and plead the blood of Jesus Christ to wash over him and protect him from the enmities that want to destroy him. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Let no weapon fashioned against Your servant, President Donald Trump prosper. Cause his enemies to stumble and fall on their own swords. Let every man, woman, and child awaken to the hidden truths and reject the satanic forces that have distorted our view of truth. Lay bare all of the lies we have been force-fed all our lives. Unveil the truth. Let no lie remain. We seek truth and justice. Let no deception be undiscovered. We crave honesty. In Christ our Savior we pray.
Amen.
How dare you "command" something from God...
I agree and I dislike this type of wording when talking to our Lord. But I did pray for President Trump this morning and for all who support and protect him. Amen.
He’s not commanding God. For heaven’s sake! He is using the power given to him to make changes in the status quo.
OP literally is NOT going to be protecting trump, or can change the status quo. OP has no way to do anything you said, unless he goes "an hero" and makes world news for something he did in Minecraft...
He literally commanded God to do it.
So sick of the rampant blasphemy in this community, we need to round up all these fake Christians. No wonder God has been smiting America, we are full of people who command God in their own names, sickening.
Wait. So we should 'round up' OP here? And do what with him? Fines? Prison? Deport? Execution? What is the penalty for not adhering to your interpretation of God's word? And (more importantly), who the hell put you in charge of deciding this?
God and only God is in charge, I am just a vessel for his mighty wisdom. They shall be judged by We the People then by God himself. Im sure I don't need to remind you of Leviticus 24:16, there is only one punishment for someone who tries and command God. The word of God and the Bible is infallible, perfect, and the sole truth.
Great. But I don't want your interpretation fucking with my life.
Of course I don't have to remind you of Luke 22:20 where Jesus told us that He was the New Covenant. And I also should not have to remind you of John 8:1-11 in which He said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
And where does the Bible state that they shall be judged by We The People? Last time I checked it actually said in Matthew 7:1-3:
"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"
Just sayin'
The way he prayed was accurate and there was nothing wrong with it. Calling people a fake Christian because they did not pray the way you wanted is a bit rash and uncalled for. And saying we need to round them up....yeah we don't do that here bro
I was thinking the same thing when I read that!
Better to say God, I ask protection over President Trump…
Amen.
Lord, I come to you humbly asking for protection for all patriots especially President Donald John Trump. Lord we know the devil and his demons want to take down this beautiful child of yours, please send angels to protect he, his family and those around him. In Jesus name, Amen.
It’s not fair for you to broaden and water down the wrong prayer and language merely for the sake of unity or changing his meaning altogether. It’s not open for interpretation. Are there examples in the OT of men being bold in prayer to God? Yes… but this post does not qualify or meet that standard. Commanding and pleading blood is widely known as Pentecostal charismatic behavior. He’s just repeating what he saw other people do and say. But that doesn’t mean it is biblical.
Saying the name of Christ had no effect for false people who tried to expel demons in the NT. They knew Jesus, they knew Paul, but who was this guy misusing Christ in such a way? Matthew 7:21-24 is why demons do not tremble in certain cases.
Amen
Pray for God’s will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!
Amen.
Commanding God and praying the blood of Jesus does not accomplish what you are desiring to have accomplished.
The death of Christ has already accomplished its work for those who believe. Moving forward from the moment of salvation, praying according to God’s will is the effective way to communicate with God. “Pleading the blood” is charismatic Pentecostal behavior with zero basis in Scripture or reality. Saying the word “destroy” is not example of supplications (Praying for specific things).
Have you never been taught how to pray and communicate with God? This is an honest question and it warrants serious discussion.
Your comment is valuable and a bit harsh but I appreciate it.
I know and I apologize :/
Amen.
Amen.
Every day!
Amen!!
