Many of us living here have commented that the weather haven't been extremely hot this year. Is it still 95°+? Sure. It the desert! But the fact that it hasn't been 111 while in June, and the fact that there's even been some storms, says a lot. Seems like between 2015-2020, the weather was absolute trash in the summer, with very little monsoon/rain.

I am born and raised AZ and I have never experienced weather this mild in June. Not even close.
I think when I was a kid it used to be more like this, but this was back in the late 80's
My parents have been saying the same thing.
mile high country-tomatoes not growing-too cold at night--in past a mild June-(not like this one) was followed by nasty July and August--cross fingers
It has been nice here. Only concern is that since we haven't had that 10-12 days in a row of oppressive heat that helps setup our monsoon cycle that it may be a very late or non-existent monsoon season.
Hmm I did not know that. Hoping we still get strong rains this year!
My anniversary is coming up on Saturday. In 2017 when we got married, the weather was 117 here in the valley. It's only supposed to be 103 this weekend.
Tucson here, we monitor it each year and this year it seems like the monsoons are coming early, love that! It has been cooler, but it should get to 108 next week. Who knows maybe the chemtrails are working? We were swimming the other day just staring at the skies thinking how beautiful it was with the thin cloud cover, but then realized it was chemtrails that planes dropped earlier... I don't have any extra arms growing out of me yet, but only time can tell with that stuff...
Some areas in Arizona got 15X the average moisture this winter. 3X is great. 15X is astounding. If it continues, it's going to be biblical.
There's an El Nino, sort of. Generally that means cooler for us, but we haven't really had one in years. It has been a little cooler than last year and much cooler than 2017-2019, which were extra bad.
I live in the coastal plains of NC. It has not been all that hot here either. Heard it was because of an El Niño weather system over the Pacific which will keep our weather cooler and rainier.
Been nice in the mitten so far. Only a handful of "it's too fucking hot" type days.
It has been the coolest April-June that I ever remember in Alabama. Still in the 60's at night, only hit 90 a couple of times in the day, humidity has been relatively low.
I'm taking a job to get away from the heat for a while when its actually not going to be a brutal summer, just my luck
I have photo of dash in my truck-mid June in The Valley 11:11 in the morning-111 degrees
That's normal
Nice, mild Spring in the Sierras too. High 60's tomorrow. And buckets of precipitation this winter!
