Speaking of sports games... That is one huge problem with society. Sports have programed people to believe your side winning is the only real importance. It teaches people how to excuse one side getting cheated for their side to win. Over and over, I have seen teams flat out screwed, with no consequences. Then, the fans of the team doing the screwing act as though all is well and they didn't see any cheating at all.
I wish folks would be that enthusiastic and stats orientated to pay attention to their own country and how they are losing the battle for their freedoms.
Hah! I'm in New England and you don't know how true that is!
I remember looking at the voter returns for a few counties in N. Carolina when bath-house Barry won in 2008. Over 100% registered voter turn out and thousands of people over 100 years old.
My coworkers were more worked up about deflate-gate than they were about vote fraud. Still are today!
As long as it doesn’t interrupt their evening soap operas, sports games and Starbucks swilling what do they care?
It's worse than that.

And even more sinister, they can't fathom anything that goes against what theybelieve

Exactly. They can tell you how many yards Tom Brady threw in a game 15 years ago, but can't see that 125% voter turnout is impossible.
