178 War in France: "They burned down the most extensive library in Marseille. Dear EU, maybe it’s time to reconsider open borders." (twitter.com) posted 1 year ago by eagle-eyes2020 1 year ago by eagle-eyes2020 +178 / -0 32 comments share 32 comments share save hide report block hide replies
Seeing a Library burn is depressing. Most Large scale Libraries still maintain old and comparatively Rare Books in their collections.
Who knows what went up in the flames?
Who told them to burn the library?
They wouldn't even notice a library under normal conditions. They'd be invisible. No use for them.
Someone wanted to target it.
At least that's my initial thinking on the matter.
100% agreed. This is Antifa: Euro Edition
Fahrenheit 451 was a cautionary tale guys not a manual
The cynic in me recognizes that the people doing the burning have never read the book, let alone understood it's warning.
Nor have they read "1984".
A 17 year old migrant kid stole a car, got stopped by the police, tried to drive away and they shot and killed him, then the George Floyd type riots began. This is not the yellow vests or native French doing this.
