So this week Twitter restricts the number of views, Reddit restricted the use of APIs to access its content (ie Apollo shuts down), probably there are some other examples. This seems counterintuitive for platforms where you’d think they’d want as many users and views as possible.
These places are where a lot of alternate information seeps through to normies. Is this some sort of throttling in preparation for a future event(s)? IDK
i have the opposite perspective. reddit is a cesspool, and we are seeing its collapse. at the same time, twitter certainly seems to be preparing for something, but it looks like that may be more about crippling the censorship industry's main source of data.
all of this limits their ability to censor and fact check us. twitter is restricted for now, but i think this is preparation for the flood gates to open
I think it’s being collapsed on purpose though. If they wanted to prevent collapse they would encourage external use of APIs not restrict the. Reddit is a cesspool, but it is a channel where some alternate information seeps into mainstream; that’s why TDW and GA were kicked off of reddit to begin with.
Things have changed now, I see a lot of alternate views coming through reddit. Now that they can’t outright censor they are going to restrict the channels outright
of course its an intentional collapse. what do you think 'patriots in control' means?
What do you mean by collapse? Twitter is doing way better than before as conservatives are back and not being censored for their views. We need social media to bypass the fake news. Nobody should be rooting for todays Twitter collapse based on the way they felt about Twitter before.
yeah nobody's saying that. we're talking about the collapse of reddit. twitter will be fine
Oh I don’t know how I missed that.
Yeah, fuck reddit.
It was explained in another thred. AI. networks were " scraping " users and accounts to manage and handle narratives. They could blunt and turn opinion. The AI's were doing this in the millions. I believe the poster of the information said 22 million users after scraping 40+ million users information , hash tags, and subject matter. So to foil this Twitter is limiting the AI's access. Now, think about this. Who needs to post more than 8000 times in a day. See, 5th generation warfare. We are in it but we are also individuals.
Correct.
It's white hats cutting off the data feeds for the cabal censorship and sentiment models.
Without these inputs they are partially blinded and the resource costs for continuing ops goes way up.
You'll probably see oddities in media as the cabal tries to continue ops with limited data. Basically imagine X% of social media is bots, and now those bots are very buggy and less informed. You'll also likely see real humans amplified since suppression mechanisms will be borked.
Basically now is a good time to post stuff that you felt was oddly suppressed in the past...
It’s not only that. I have a small following, around 5,000 followers. When I post a meme or an article, and someone replies, I always like their post. I don’t know if that’s proper social convention, but it’s what I do. When I do that too much, it thinks I’m a bit and I can’t post anything for a while.
Your exhibiting bot-like behavior. Algos don't know the difference between your mass 'liking' and that of a bot doing the same. As a result the algos error on the side of caution.
No doubt your simply encouraging activity on your threads but the algos dont know the difference.
This is a good thing.
I think you’re right
