ONCE they are all contained in their net zero facilities like Guantanomo., I am sure the masses will be happy to feed them sticks and carrots all day.

net zero is a bankrupt concept. It actually means no carbon dioxide exhaling life, and/or no economic development in order to achieve it (except for pine-tree monocultures).
How much smoke and pollution have the Canadian fires produced? Are we to be now forced to 'eat bugs' to make up for it? I am not even sure that a pound of bugs is going to be more 'environmentally friendly' than a pound of beef.
