Holy crap. They paid to make a movie. They paid to buy the studio that had the movie. They sat on the movie and decided to throw away all that money and never even TRY to break even.
And this is handwaved away as "shifting corporate priorities."
When did "corporate priorities" become anything OTHER than "make as much money as you possibly can." Then why wouldn't it be insidious that a film company bought a fully finished and ready to release film and then sat on it?!
